The Skid Row Project is a Los Angeles-based organization focused on helping indigent people become self-sufficient members of society. We strive not only to provide food and shelter, but also to help destitute citizens better themselves and reach their full potential.
Our homeless assistance efforts are always expanding, and we have helped over 2,400 people so far this calendar year. We aim to assist at least 3,000 people by year's end. In order to better serve the homeless, we host quarterly community outreach events. During these events, we hand out food, clothing, blankets, toys, and toiletries.
While we pride ourselves on the assistance we've already provided, we aim to grow our mission. Our ultimate goal is to build sustainable tiny housing for the homeless out of shipping containers. This would ideally blossom into a solar-powered community, including a restroom facility and dining area. Reach out today to learn how you can help us reach our goal.
